I'm a physicist based in Berlin specializing in the development of data acquisition systems and software for data analysis and machine learning. Originally, I graduated in astroparticle physics and received much of my experience while working on neutrino telescopes in Siberia and Antarctica. These experiments instrumented large bodies of water and glacial ice with optical sensors to detect the faint light created by cosmic-ray particles interacting with matter. For the last couple of years I worked in the neuroimaging domain supervising the software development for portable near-infrared spectrometers that measure blood oxygenation changes in the brain.
